Hi, I'm Dan Labkovsky.

Full-stack TypeScript developer building production AI tooling. Based in Germany.

In late 2025 I came back to professional development at Pariton.AI, a Berlin AI software company where I joined as the first hire. The headline build: a patent-discovery pipeline applying the TRIZ inventive-problem-solving methodology — it surfaces new patents, runs freedom-to-operate checks, decomposes opportunities into work packages, and ships polished PDF reports with AI-generated imagery. End-to-end. Alongside it: e-commerce analytics dashboards aggregating sales across platforms, internal tools, and the team's observability stack on Grafana, SigNoz and Langfuse. Stack: Angular, NestJS, PostgreSQL on self-hosted Kubernetes (GKE) with ArgoCD.

I've been writing code since I was sixteen — freelance web work in Israel (sites like Masa Aher), then two years studying engineering at Ben-Gurion University before moving to Germany. Several years in support, moderation, and security roles while settling in Berlin and building German fluency. Code never stopped though — React apps, a finished GameMaker title, p5.js sketches, PC builds, Linux tuning, a bit of robotics.

Strongest on frontend. Increasingly confident on infra and AI integration. Focused on LLM integration and workflows — not model training, though open to going deeper if a role calls for it. I move fast and ship.

Working language: English. German A2, improving toward B1.

What I love building

  • Products at the intersection of AI and real software — where LLMs do actual work, not demos
  • Automation that helps you automate the tedious parts of your job
  • Personal projects with range — from a local AI rig to simple quality of life apps.

Outside of code I hike and travel, follow the NBA, keep up with advances in tech and science, and tinker with hardware — PC builds, Linux tuning, a bit of robotics.

Berlin-based. Open to anywhere.

Software Developer — Pariton.AI GmbH, Berlin

Oct 2025 – Jun 2026 · Full-time · First hire

Joined a small Berlin AI software company as the first employee. Owned full-stack delivery across Angular, NestJS, and PostgreSQL — running on self-hosted Kubernetes (GKE), deployed via ArgoCD. Worked alongside one other developer.

Headline — TRIZ-based patent discovery pipeline. Designed and built an n8n-orchestrated workflow that surfaces newly published patents, applies the TRIZ inventive-problem-solving methodology to score viability, runs freedom-to-operate checks, decomposes candidates into structured work packages, and generates polished PDF reports with AI-generated imagery. End-to-end automation of analyst work that previously took days per opportunity.

  • E-commerce analytics — aggregated sales across platforms into a unified charting UI.
  • Internal full-stack tooling — smaller web apps and admin interfaces.
  • Observability stack — Grafana, SigNoz, Langfuse on self-hosted GKE for app metrics, traces, and LLM inspection.

Stack: TypeScript · Angular · NestJS · PostgreSQL · Kubernetes (GKE) · ArgoCD · Docker · Grafana · SigNoz · Langfuse · n8n · OpenAI / Anthropic APIs

Career break from development

2019 – 2025 · Berlin & Köln

Six years of non-development roles in Berlin and Köln while settling in Germany and building German fluency — content moderation, ad-platform support, and security work. Continued building software throughout: small React apps, a finished GameMaker title, p5.js sketches, hardware projects. The Pariton.AI role in 2025 was the return to full-time development.

Earlier experience in IT and hardware

2007 – 2017 · Israel

Before Germany: freelance web developer from age sixteen (sites like Masa Aher, buses.co.il, themodel.co.il); IT systems implementation training at John Bryce Global Training, placed at Ha'Emek hospital; branch manager at Ivory Computer Store in Nazareth.

Side projects & continuous building

Ongoing

What kept the muscle alive between development roles:

  • DanLabs.net — this site. Vanilla JS, custom canvas particle engine, no frameworks.
  • GameMaker game — finished small title built in GameMaker Studio 2.
  • React apps & p5.js sketches — side experiments and small tools.
  • lad-art.com — my mom's painting gallery, rebuilt multiple times.
  • Hardware & systems — PC builds, Linux tuning, some robotics.
  1. Full-stack web development — Angular + NestJS + PostgreSQL, deepest on the frontend
  2. Production AI integration — LLM APIs, RAG, n8n agentic workflows, Langfuse for tracing
  3. Cloud-native delivery — Kubernetes (GKE) with ArgoCD GitOps, Grafana + SigNoz observability
